Ukraine has significantly expanded the range of its missiles and drones, and this year’s air strikes have targeted almost half of Russia’s regions, reports Bloomberg.

According to an analysis conducted by the agency, based on the statements of Russian regional authorities, drone or missile attacks have occurred at least once in regions where over 70% of the Russian Federation’s population resides.

If previously the areas bordering Ukraine were mainly targeted, now the attacks have reached as far as the regions of Tyumen, Khanty-Mansiysk, Salekhard and Omsk, located over 2,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

Bloomberg also notes that in June, Ukraine launched a record number of long-range drones – 11,620, almost double the 5,749 used by Russia in the same period, according to data from the Ukrainian Air Forces and the Russian Ministry of Defense.
