Prime Minister Andy Burnham says that London will continue to send military aid to Ukraine, after Moscow threatened the United Kingdom with “consequences” for the use of British drones in Ukrainian attacks on Russia.
The United Kingdom will continue its support for Ukraine, despite the warning issued by Moscow following the emergence of information that Ukrainian forces have used drones manufactured in the United Kingdom in attacks on targets in Russia.
Asked about Russia’s threats during a visit to Wolverhampton, Prime Minister Andy Burnham emphasized that the UK will not be intimidated by such statements and will not change its policy towards the war initiated by Vladimir Putin, notes The Independent.
“This is the United Kingdom doing what it has long said it would do, namely to support Ukraine 100% against this illegal war led by Vladimir Putin.”

The statement comes after the Russian Embassy in London reacted to information suggesting that Ukraine used unmanned aircraft produced by two British companies, and argued that this shows London has deliberately chosen to escalate the war.
