Two top managers associated with the businesses of Russian billionaire Arkadi Rotenberg have been arrested in Russia within a week, reports the publication “Hroniki Media”.
On July 3, the general director of the “Lavna” maritime commercial port, Stanislav Multah, was placed under preventive arrest, being accused of embezzlement on a particularly large scale. He has been managing the port since 2021, and previously worked at the State Leasing Company in Transport.
According to the publication, almost the entire leadership team of the “Lavna” project was made up of former employees of companies controlled by Arkadi Rotenberg and his son, Igor.
The main contractors involved in the construction of the port were also companies associated with the Rotenberg family. These companies obtained contracts worth a total of over 21 billion rubles.
