Western personalities, including former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and former CIA Director David Petraeus, were at a train station in western Ukraine “just before” Russia struck a train in the area, the Ukrainian railway operator announced on Sunday, reports AFP, relayed by Agerpres.
“Just before the locomotive was hit at the Ukrainian-Polish border, a diplomatic train was in the station at Yagodin,” stated the Ukrainian railway company in a press release.
“On board, among others, were security advisors from several EU member states and former European leaders, including former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. In another train that was in the Iagodin station at the moment of the attack was the former director of the CIA, David Petraeus”, according to the cited source.
A Russian drone struck on Sunday, September 13, the locomotive of a passenger train traveling from Kiev to Warsaw, in the Volyn region of Ukraine, just two kilometers from the border with Poland.
