Donald Trump Jr., the son of the US president, spent two days hunting in Mongolia with Russian businessman Umar Kremlev, president of the International Boxing Association (IBA), according to an investigation published by the Financial Times.

According to the source cited, Trump Jr. arrived in Ulaanbaatar (Ulan Bator) in late August before traveling to a hunting camp in Uvs Province.

FT journalists pieced together the itinerary using flight data, social media posts, official documents, and accounts from guides and local officials.

U.S. federal documents reviewed by the respected publication show that the U.S. Embassy paid $18,715 to accommodate the Secret Service agents protecting Donald Trump Jr. during the trip.

According to the investigation, Umar Kremlev left an IBA press conference in Kazakhstan on August 27 and flew overnight on a chartered plane to Mongolia’s capital. From there, he traveled to the camp where Trump Jr. was staying.

Russian businessman Artur Martirosov, a partner in the US-sanctioned Voskhod investment fund, reportedly also accompanied him on the trip.
