The separatist leaders reject the idea of establishing a civilian mission in Transnistria. According to statements made by Vadim Krasnoselski, such a situation existed in 1992, before the war on the Dniester, but those responsible did not act efficiently.

“They fled. They didn’t even bother to write reports about the start of military operations and document the actions of the criminal Moldovan regime at that time,” declared the leader from Tiraspol.

The official from the separatist region of the Republic of Moldova accused the “nationalists” of triggering the 1992 war. At the same time, Krasnoselski also told journalists in the region that the “Dniester people appreciate the peacekeepers and thank them for peace.”

This is not the first time Krasnoselski has praised the peacekeepers and, in particular, the Russian military, accusing the constitutional administration of provoking the military actions of 1992.

The recent statements were made during large-scale events, organized by the unrecognized administration from Tiraspol on the occasion of the February 23rd holiday, when Russia celebrates the “Defender of the Fatherland Day”.
