A Russian Tu-95MS strategic bomber crashed on September 29, in the Amur region, resulting in the death of eight crew members, including military personnel involved in the war in Ukraine.

The information was revealed by obituaries published in Russian online communities. Photos from funerals have appeared on social networks, accompanied by the names of all the deceased, writes Dialog

Of the eight dead soldiers, two held the rank of lieutenant colonel, while another two were majors.

Among the victims are Majors Andrei Lobanov and Andrei Gherasimov, as well as Lieutenant Colonel Fiodor Pavliukov. The three are listed in the database of the project “The Book of Executioners”, which publishes verified information about war crimes committed by Russian military personnel and the leadership of the Russian Federation.

According to the project, all three have organized and executed rocket attacks on cities and energy infrastructure in Ukraine.

Lobanov, serving as the deputy commander of an air squadron within the 182nd Heavy Bombardment Aviation Regiment, part of the 326th Heavy Bombardment Aviation Division of the Long-Range Aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces, coordinated the operational unit and personally participated in combat missions.

“There are solid reasons to believe that this person was involved in the organization and execution of criminal orders regarding the launching of missiles at densely populated cities, energy infrastructure, and other civil infrastructure targets”, it is stated in the project file dedicated to this Russian military.

According to the same source, Gherasimov and Pavliukov would have been involved in similar war crimes.
