Forget about Tomahawk! The dreadful weapons with which Ukrainians can strike even deeper into the heart of Russia: “Romania collaborates on this rocket”

The Ukrainians have several important weapons that can make the famous Tomahawk missiles, which the Americans refuse to offer to Kiev, more or less forgotten. General (r) Alexandru Grumaz explains for „Adevărul”, what these are.

The Ukrainians hoped in vain that they would receive the famous Tomahawk missiles, but as expected, the United States of America ultimately refused, hoping that this would convince Putin to come to the negotiating table. However, even without the Tomahawk, Ukrainians and Russians continue to slaughter each other cynically and mutually, the former being forced to defend themselves, and the latter forced by Putin and his henchmen to attack a sister Slavic nation, in a war that seems endless.

In an information war that only deceives the naive, each side claims that the other would be exhausted and that it will soon be defeated, but the reality is quite different. Beyond the war fought to some extent with Soviet weapons from the 70-80s, both combatants have managed to innovate and adapt older weapons or even invent new ones. General (r) Alexandru Grumaz explains for „Adevărul” what the two armies are based on and what are the star weapons with which the two combatants try to suppress each other.

Like in the “Star Wars” saga

The General talks about drone-robots and the role of artificial intelligence in this 3rd millennium war. The Ukrainians have successfully used such weapons, but their enemy has also adapted quickly.

“Firstly, drone-robots coordinated by artificial intelligence. Ukraine is already operationally using swarms of autonomous drones, capable of making decisions on the ground. They identify, select targets, adjust routes, regroup if someone falls out of formation. Last but not least, they reduce the need for operators and have a devastating effect on military personnel, equipment and enemy infrastructure. The situation has reached the point where up to 90% of strikes on Russian targets are carried out by drones, compared to 70–75% last year”, explains General Grumaz.

The missile that hits further than the Tomahawk

Perhaps the undisputed star of the Ukrainian army is the Flamingo missile, which can to some extent make up for the United States’ refusal to send Tomahawks to Ukraine. In fact, the Ukrainian missile can hit targets up to 3,000 kilometers away, almost double the 1,500-2,000 kilometers that the Tomahawk can normally hit. It is true, however, that the effect of American missiles is more devastating.

“The Ukrainian long-range cruise missile Flamingo (FP-5) is a special weapon. Recently developed in Ukraine, with an incredible range of up to 3,000 kilometers, it can hit deep targets such as weapon factories, strategic commands, critical infrastructure or even those in central Russia. It has entered production and is considered the most efficient missile produced so far by Ukraine”, says General Grumaz.

The troops of Kiev have invented another weapon that will certainly be talked about in the future, Palianytsia.
