The former Moldovan deputy prime minister, Nicolae Andronati, was killed on the left bank of the Dniester. According to pulsmedia.md, the lifeless body of the 90-year-old man was found on February 24 in his own household in the village of Caragaș.
The law enforcement agencies have three suspects. Two of them have been detained, and another one is being sought by the investigators responsible for the crime investigation.
“This case was reported to the Bender Police Inspectorate, which is taking the necessary legal measures,” stated in the clarification transmitted by the Bureau for Reintegration for Realitatea.
Nicolae Andronati was a deputy in the first Parliament of Moldova. The former official was also a signatory of the Declaration of Independence.
