Following the attacks of the Ukrainians in Moscow, Russian Z propagandists have openly started discussing the replacement of Putin, in the context of the stalemate on the front.

The Telegram channel “The Sixth Day | ROMAN ROMANOV”, with over 30,000 subscribers, wrote that Putin “has never stepped in front of the people” after Ukraine’s biggest attack on Moscow and is afraid to stand with the Russians during a war he himself initiated.

The propagandist writes that Putin is no longer capable of fulfilling his duties and does not know how to end the war with Ukraine and, therefore, must be replaced. The character named as his successor is the bureaucrat Sergei Kirienko.

“Perhaps we should finally ask ourselves: why do we need a president who is afraid to stand with his people in a war that he himself started? He doesn’t know how to win it, how to end it, how to get out of it, and simply waits for the right moment hoping everything will resolve itself? Putin is afraid and doesn’t want to take risks, which is why he doesn’t visit Belgorod, Kursk, Tuapse or Krimsk.”

“Putin is even afraid to meet with his own ministers and diplomats without the presence of FSO officers. Putin is afraid to go to Red Square on May 9th without security guarantees from Trump”, the post reads.

The following is a simple political conclusion: if Putin “fears anything”, then he should leave his position to those who are not afraid of “historical challenges”.

This is a significant shift among Z pro-war propagandists. Previously, Z channels were asking the Kremlin to take a firm stance on Ukraine. Now, some of them are talking about Putin’s own weakness and discussing who could replace him, notes Dialog
