Lukashenko arrived at XI “like at home”. The leader from Minsk is on an official visit to China, after being in Moscow. The official from Belarus told Xi Jinping that he came to Beijing from Russia, after having long meetings with Vladimir Putin, at the Valdai residence of the Kremlin chief.

In turn, the Chinese leader acknowledged that he would often discuss with his Belarusian counterpart, reports realitatea.md. Xi also said that the Chinese administration supports Lukashenko’s administration in defending national sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, according to Agerpres.

At the same time, the official stated in front of the press that Beijing and Minsk “must maintain strategic communication, promote the continuous progress of bilateral relations at a high level and for the benefit of the people of both countries”.

Last week, Lukashenko announced a long-term trip, without specifying where he was going. Shortly after, he made a visit to Moscow, and following that, the administration in Minsk stated that the official would visit three Asian countries, without specifying exactly which countries they were referring to.
