US President Donald Trump sent a message on his social network on Tuesday, urging Iranians to protest and take “control” of institutions. “Note the names of the killers and abusers. They will pay a high price,” Trump writes, announcing that “help is on the way”.

“Iranian patriots, CONTINUE THE PROTESTS – TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR INSTITUTIONS!!!

Note the names of the killers and abusers. They will pay a high price.

I have cancelled all meetings with Iranian officials until the senseless killing of protesters STOPS.

HELP IS ON THE WAY.

MIGA!!! (ed. note: Make Iran Great Again)

PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

The American President Donald Trump meets on Tuesday with high-ranking officials of his administration to discuss the action plan regarding Iran, reports the Israeli channel i24News.

The meeting is expected to take place at 23:00, according to Romanian time zone.

International media reported earlier in the day that the Washington leader is inclined to bomb Iran to punish the theocratic regime that has killed, so far, at least 2,000 people, following anti-government protests that have entered their third week.

Russia reacts to Trump’s call to Iranians

Russia condemned on Tuesday,  the US threats to launch new attacks in Iran and warned against “subversive external interference” in the politics of the theocratic regime in Tehran..

“Those who intend to use externally inspired disturbances as a pretext for repeating aggression against Iran from June 2025 must be aware of the disastrous consequences of such actions for the situation in the Middle East and global international security”, the Russian Foreign Ministry declared.

The institution, which thus referred to the American strikes on Iranian nuclear sites last year, added that threats of new attacks are “categorically unacceptable”.

Russia’s statement came a few moments after Donald Trump urged protesters in Iran to continue the protests and occupy state institutions.
