The Central Court of Soci has admitted the anti-corruption action brought forward by the deputy prosecutor general of the Russian Federation against the former and current deputy of the State Duma, Anatoli Voronovski, deputy Andrei Doroshenko, and the deputy of the Legislative Assembly from the Krasnodar Territory, Aleksandr Karpenko. The case involves 30 individuals, and 19 organizations have been involved as third parties.

According to the investigation, since 2016, Voronovski, initially in the position of Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure of the Krasnodar Territory, and later as a deputy in the State Duma, allegedly requested illegal commissions and bribes.

The court ordered the nationalization of the defendants’ assets, including 19 companies valued at 21.7 billion rubles (approximately 217 million euros), as well as 207 real estate properties located in Moscow, Krasnodar, Yalta, Novorossiisk, Armavir, Goriachii Kliuchi, on the coast of the Azov Sea and in Karachay-Cherkessia, worth over 1 billion rubles (about 10 million euros). Additionally, the court ordered the recovery of over 95 million rubles (approximately 950,000 euros).

The case also involves the former regional Minister of Transport, Alexei Pereverzev, accused of fraud in the awarding of public contracts for road maintenance. The investigation claims that he acted in complicity with Voronovski. The damage in this case is estimated at 2 billion rubles (approximately 20 million euros).
