Several drone fragments have been detected in the districts of Căușeni, Ștefan Vodă, Hîncești, and Anenii Noi. Residents reported explosions in the outskirts of some localities.
The Air Operations Service of the National Army specifies that between 7:45-8:00, the national airspace was overflown by five unmanned aircraft, and four of them exploded.
According to the Police, the first call was received at 07:50, by the law enforcement officers in Căușeni. They were informed about an explosion that occurred in the outskirts of the city, where dense smoke was observed. Upon arriving at the scene, the police found fragments of a drone, reports tv8.md.
Other fragments were found near the localities of Dubovca and Hîncești. Subsequently, the Police announced that drone remnants were also detected in the Anenii Noi district, between the villages of Delacău and Puhăceni.
Another incident was reported near the village of Crocmaz, in the Ștefan Vodă district. The explosion occurred in a vineyard, close to an agricultural brigade. As a result of the blast, a vegetation fire broke out, and the windows of the building were damaged.
