Donald Trump wants to move F-15 and F-35 fighter jets from Europe to the Middle East. Additionally, the possibility of bringing a tanker aircraft to the war zone for mid-air refueling is also being considered.

The additional resources would extend the options for the American President Donald Trump, at a time when he is considering how to further approach the situation, notes hotnews.ro.

Last week, the US leader received information on how to intensify the offensive against Iran. One option would be the occupation of Kharg Island, a key hub for Iranian exports. Also, attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities at Muntele Târnăcopului would be considered.

However, President Trump has not completely ruled out the possibility of an amicable solution, and the head of American diplomacy stated that the Washington administration “remains open” to resuming negotiations.

A high-ranking Iranian official had a similar approach in statements made on Monday, stating that Tehran “remains open to diplomacy”.

Esmaeil Baghaei, the spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, said that mediators continue the dialogue, but Tehran will continue military operations as long as the attacks persist.
