Is life in Russia becoming like in prison?! The FACEPALM statement made by Putin’s ideologue, the controversial philosopher Dughin: The Internet should be offered limitedly, to those who have good behavior

The controversial Russian philosopher Alexandr Dugin, known in the public sphere as Vladimir Putin’s ideologue, has proposed tightening internet access. According to him, the use of the network should be allowed limitedly, “as a reward for good behavior”.

In Dughin’s opinion, access to the internet could be allowed more frequently in winter, when people spend more time indoors, reports nordnews.md. In spring and summer, the use of the network should be restricted or even suspended, to encourage citizens to socialize and spend more time outside the online environment.

Previously, Dughin argued that people can communicate even without the internet, suggesting that friends can be summoned by whistling under windows and going out for a ride on scooters.

“If the internet were to be completely shut down, especially in the spring, people would start to walk, meet, communicate, go to cafes and shops, make new acquaintances, and lead an authentic human life. And the internet could be restarted at the end of autumn. In Russia, the internet must adapt to the seasonal cycles of bears and butterflies,” Dughin believes.

Putin’s ideologue has previously, on numerous occasions, advocated for the strengthening of state control over society. He has previously urged Russians to accept this reality as an inevitable one. In his opinion, it is preferable for this control to be exercised by the authorities of their own country, not by external actors.
