The statements of the American Secretary of State Marco Rubio in support of Ukraine demonstrate that what Russia used to call “Biden’s war” has now become “Trump’s war,” declared the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, on Thursday.
The foreign minister from Moscow believes that the fighting in Ukraine would have already ended if the “United States had truly tried to find a peace agreement”, reports Agerpres.
The Kremlin official believes that Rubio’s statements in support of Ukraine “have demonstrated that there are no fundamental differences between the approaches of the USA and those of European countries”.
Lavrov’s assertions come after Rubio stated on Wednesday in front of a US Senate committee that information will appear “quite soon” regarding the $400 million military aid package for Ukraine, approved by the US Congress.
