“Here are the clear objectives of the operation. You should note them: 1. The destruction of the Iranian air forces 2. The destruction of their navy 3. The drastic destruction of their missile launch capabilities 4. The destruction of their factories,” Rubio declared.
Speaking about negotiations, Rubio said that there are “fractures” among the members of the Iranian hierarchy, and the United States believes that personalities who have the “power to act” will eventually prevail, Rubio said on the Good Morning America show on ABC.
