There are three dead and 131 injured, following a massive fire and explosion at a Russian-Chinese factory in the Amur region. One of the deceased was a Chinese citizen.
The reasons for the outbreak are unknown, however one of the theories circulated is a possible attack by Ukrainian drones. The hypothesis, however, remains hard to believe, considering that the incident area is located in the Far East of Russia.
According to other information, a smell of gas was felt on the construction site before the explosion, writes the Russian publication Kommersant. The company was set to become the largest in the world that produces polyethylene and polypropylene, although it is just a construction site, and the actual production has not even started yet.
Russian press agencies claim that a special flight, set to transport “renowned specialists” from various research centers, is being prepared to be sent to the Amur region. Private medical organizations from the region are also involved.
