A Shahed drone, coming from the direction of Ukraine, entered unauthorized into the airspace of the Republic of Moldova in the afternoon of September 8th. The flying device crossed the Transnistrian region, headed towards Chisinau, and left the country through the Ungheni district, continuing its flight towards Romania.

The surveillance systems of the National Army detected the drone at 16:20. The Shahed was moving from the town of Slavianoserbsk in Ukraine towards Bender, crossing the Transnistrian region.
