In the online space, a document is circulating, presented as an internal letter from the Central Electoral Commission of Russia addressed to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Moldova.
The document proposes that, on September 20, the members of the electoral commissions should identify, among the male voters of recruitable age, those who have been outside of Russia for more than six months and who have not been removed from the military records.
Members of the committees are proposed to question the voters, to verify the documents regarding the duration of their stay abroad, and to collect data for subsequent transmission to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
In several Telegram channels, another document has appeared, addressed to all members of the electoral commissions established alongside diplomatic missions, asking them to identify citizens subject to military duty.
We remind you that in the Transnistrian region, 16 polling stations were opened for the State Duma elections. Another station was opened at the Russian Federation Embassy in Chisinau.
