The Russian authorities will restrict all mobile communications in Moscow before and on the day of the traditional military parade on May 9, as well as on the eve. The information was published by several opposition journalists in Russia.

The restrictions could be imposed starting from May 5th and will continue until the May 9th parade. Some sources note that not even SMS messages will be able to be sent.

Access to the network will be prohibited even on the so-called “white list” websites, allowed by the Kremlin regime for access during previous bans. The blocking radius has been extended from the center of Moscow to the beltway of the Russian capital.

The other day, the Kremlin announced that the May 9th parade in 2026 will be more modest. The press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, claimed that the “terrorist activity of Ukrainians” would be to blame, which allegedly has intensified recently.
