Children from a kindergarten in the Lugansk region, occupied by Russians, were forced to dress in old clothes and exchange bread for ration cards. The activity took place to commemorate the victims of the Siege of Leningrad.
The educational institution posted images of the activity on the social network vKontakte. The teaching staff wrote that in this way they keep alive the memory of those who died during the Second World War.
According to the images, the “masquerade” was organized only for the children from the older group. The minors held in their hands aluminum vessels and candles and wore woolen scarves on their heads.
Children from the younger groups only had the activity of cutting out swallows on their list.
The initiative of the educational institution was harshly criticized on social networks.
