The President of the Russian Federation, fresh candidate for his sixth term, has made his wealth declaration public, in accordance with legal provisions. The leader from the Kremlin has submitted to the Central Election Commission in Moscow a report of his income and assets.

Among the declared assets are two GAZ M21 cars, manufactured in 1960 and 1965, a 77 square meter apartment in Saint Petersburg, an 18 square meter garage, and a bank account with a deposit of 40 million rubles, equivalent to just over $400,000, according to meduza.io. In the span of six years, since the last time he ran for President, Putin has earned over 67 million rubles. This amount includes his salary as President of the Russian Federation, commission from bank deposits, and pensions, including a military one, obtained as a former agent of the FSB. The Kremlin dictator has not made any other acquisitions, compared to the data from his last wealth declaration. In terms of real estate, he owns a 77 square meter apartment in Saint Petersburg (his hometown) and an 18 square meter garage in the same city. Putin is wealthier in terms of automobiles, with two GAZ M21 cars from 1960 and 1965, produced under license from Ford, a 2009 Lada 2121, and a Soviet SCRIF trailer from 1987 that can be used as a mini-camper.”
