Actor Richard Gere has called Donald Trump a “maniac” who is destroying “everything that is good”. The superstar spoke about the American leader during a public discussion in Oslo.
“We are living through the darkest moment we have ever known on this planet. Who would have thought that America could change like this? Who would have thought that such a maniac could become the President of the United States?”, said Geer.
Richard Gere is in the capital of Norway to present the “Vaclav Havel International Award for Creative Dissent” to the Chinese artist Gao Zhen, according to news.ro.
Gere once said that Trump had destroyed “almost everything that was good in the American Government”. In February 2025, the star actor from “Pretty Woman” and “American Gigolo” had already called Donald Trump a “bully”, an English term that describes a “brutal” person, who harasses.
