The authorities in the Russian region of Krasnodar will form mobile anti-drone defense groups from among the employees of enterprises, to protect critical infrastructure and industrial objectives against Ukrainian attacks.
The announcement was made by Governor Veniamin Kondratiev, following a meeting organized together with the regional leadership of the FSB. According to him, the new units will be created directly within the companies, and their members will sign contracts with the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The governor assured that the participants will not be sent to fight in Ukraine, but will stay to defend the enterprises where they are employed.
In addition, the regional authorities will grant each member of these groups a monthly allowance of 50,000 rubles (approximately 550 euros).
