The German police have initiated an investigation following the discovery of a suspicious object on the railway lines. The incident took place in Treuchtlingen, about 150 km from Munich.
The railway lines in the locality represent a significant rail hub. Initially, it was assumed that the suspicious object might contain explosives.
As a result, railway traffic in the region was disrupted, writes news.ro. A specialized robot was used to remove the suspicious object.

The German authorities have been on alert for over a week, after a drone carrying explosives was found at the Leipzig airport, near a Ukrainian plane loaded with ammunition.
