The alleged government of Tiraspol has created the “Together” Fund. Residents of the region are urged, under the pretext of a difficult economic situation, to donate, so that the money can be directed towards the payment of salaries, pensions, allowances, and other social payments.
The initiative came from the so-called Prime Minister Alexandr Rozenberg. He stated that the region’s economy is in a critical state due to external restrictions, logistical issues, and the consequences of halting gas deliveries at the beginning of 2025, accusing Chisinau of exerting pressure.
Thus, the so-called authorities of the Transnistrian region propose to the business environment and the population to cover from mandatory donations the obligations that the budget should pay, reports the publication Security Zone. According to the cited source, these funds could even be used to pay the salaries of the region’s leadership, as well as the security structures.
The Tiraspol regime has already created a website where citizens can make donations. In the first few hours since the portal became available, there was still no public information about any possible transfer.
