Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski announced the completion of the bilateral document on security guarantees for Ukraine, reports Ukrainska Pravda.

According to Zelenski, the document is to be discussed with Donald Trump to obtain the final approval of the American president. “The bilateral document on security guarantees for Ukraine is essentially ready for completion at the highest level with the President of the United States. It is important to note that Ukraine continues to integrate the activities of European and American teams and has particularly discussed together the documents on reconstruction and economic development,” the Ukrainian president conveyed.
Zelenski also pointed out that the United States plans separate contacts with Russia, and Ukraine is waiting to find out if the regime in Moscow is truly ready to end the war. At the same time, Kiev continues to inform its partners about the consequences of Russian attacks, which, according to Zelenski, do not indicate a change in the Kremlin’s priorities. The Ukrainian president reiterated the need to increase pressure on Russia in parallel with the negotiation process. In France, President Emmanuel Macron convened a meeting with the heads of political parties on Thursday afternoon to present them with the security guarantees promised by Europeans to Kiev. France could send “several thousand” soldiers to Ukraine in the event of a ceasefire with Russia.
Russia is categorically opposed to a multinational peacekeeping force in Ukraine and is trying to discourage such an option with the threat that it will consider foreign soldiers a “legitimate target”.
