The largest oil companies in Russia are tightening restrictions on fuel sales in Moscow and the capital region, amid a fuel crisis affecting almost all regions of the country.

According to RBC, Gazprom Neft gas stations in Moscow allow refueling with a maximum of 30 liters of gasoline or 60 liters of diesel per single visit. Refueling in canisters is prohibited. The company first introduced such limits in the Moscow region, after its refinery in Kapotnea was hit by drones twice in June.

Similar restrictions have also been introduced at several Lukoil stations in the capital. Some gas stations limit refueling to 20 liters, while others to 30 liters per customer, also prohibiting the filling of canisters.

Similar measures are also implemented in the Teboil network, controlled by Lukoil, where some stations allow the supply of a maximum of 20-30 liters of gasoline or up to 60 liters of diesel in a single transaction.
