An American drone factory was destroyed during the Russian attack on Kiev on July 26. The factory belonged to the US company Terminal Autonomy, which produces high-precision unmanned aircraft.

The information was published by The Guardian, citing a source close to the company. According to Meduza, Terminal Autonomy was founded in 2023 in the American state of Delaware and manufactures long-range drones, artificial intelligence, and guidance systems resistant to Russian electronic warfare.

The company manufactures the AQ-400 Scythe and AQ-100 Bayonet drones. No one was killed in the attack, and the company’s management has not commented on the situation.

In a statement from July 26, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian forces attacked “an assembly and storage location for unmanned aircraft, in the southwest part of Kiev”, mentioning that it is about a Ukrainian-American company. Its name was not disclosed by the Russian authorities.
