The Iranian Parliament is considering the possibility of introducing a huge reward for the assassination of American President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a new escalation of tensions between Tehran, Washington, and Tel Aviv.
According to statements made by Iranian officials, the Tehran legislature is set to vote on a bill that would provide a reward of 50 million euros to the person who would kill the two leaders.
The initiative is presented by the Iranian authorities as a reaction to the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, whom the Tehran regime claims was killed following coordinated attacks by the United States and Israel at the outset of the current regional conflict, writes The Daily Mail.
Direct threats against Trump and Netanyahu
The President of the National Security Commission of the Iranian parliament, Ebrahim Azizi, announced that the legislature is preparing a project titled “Mutual Action of the Military and Security Forces of the Islamic Republic.”
According to Iranian state television, Azizi stated that Donald Trump “must be punished by every Muslim and every free man” for his alleged role in Khamenei’s death.
Another member of the parliamentary security committee, Mahmood Nabavian, stated that the discussed reward would aim to “send Trump and Netanyahu to hell.”
The Iranian official also launched new threats against the United States, Israel, and their regional allies.
“American and Zionist officials must know that if there is a new aggression, we will destroy them along with their palaces,” he declared.
