The extensive program to revive the Russian aerospace industry, from which the Kremlin expected hundreds of indigenous aircraft to replace Western ones, is once again postponed.

The updated plan for United Aircraft Corporation anticipates the delivery of approximately 570 aircraft to Russian airlines by 2035. According to Interfax, the announcement was made during a meeting of the Federation Council by Oleg Bogomolov, director for civil aviation programs.

The first stage would presumably include 70 aircraft: 18 of the МС-21 type, 42 Sukhoi Superjets, 11 Ту-214 and 3 Ил-114-300.

The second stage would involve the delivery of approximately 500 aircraft. Among these are 90 MS-21s for Aeroflot, 100 modernized Tu-214 aircraft for S7 Airlines, 20 Ил-114-300s for the regional company “Avrora”, and about 100 Superjets produced with import-substituted components.
