Russian media becomes increasingly critical of President Donald Trump, with one newspaper accusing the White House of ‘administrative madness, lack of experience, immaturity, boastfulness, and arrogance…’
According to Kyiv Post, the Russian newspaper Moskovsky Komsomolets accused Trump of chaotic management, stating that he tries to do too many things at once without setting priorities.
In the article found in the Russian newspaper, the administration is described as ‘crazy‘ and exhibiting ‘lack of experience, immaturity… (and) boastfulness and arrogance.’ The article also mentions leaked messages about the US military’s plan in Yemen, exchanged between high-ranking American officials.
Another Kremlin propaganda newspaper, Komsomolskaya Pravda, described Trump’s position as inconsistent, going back and forth between threats and a desire for peace with Russia. Meanwhile, Nezavisimaya Gazeta stated that Trump is ‘losing his patience.’
This wave of criticism shows tensions between Trump and the Kremlin, while diplomatic efforts are being made to reach a ceasefire agreement with Ukraine.
This week, a key negotiator from the Kremlin is expected to visit Washington for talks with the administration of US President Donald Trump, said two sources familiar with the plan. He is the highest-ranking Russian official to visit the US since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Kirill Dmitriev, the head of Russia’s sovereign fund, who was appointed by President Vladimir Putin as a special envoy for investments and international economics, will meet with US special envoy Steve Witkoff, according to an anonymous source.
Meanwhile, the US Congress debated a bipartisan legislative initiative on Tuesday to impose new sanctions against Russia if it continues to delay engaging in good faith negotiations for peace in Ukraine.
