At the end of 2025, Russian troops conducted military exercises in China. The maneuvers were approved by the Russian Minister of Defense, Andrei Belousov, on the order of Vladimir Putin.
A delegation of the Russian armed forces was sent to China in November last year to participate in the Chinese army’s training. The program lasted 3 weeks.
The classified documents, consulted by journalists, indicate that they were trained for defense against radiation, chemical and biological substances, at a military base in Beijing, reports Meduza. The hours would have been conducted by a Chinese instructor.
The authorities in Beijing told journalists that they remain neutral regarding the war in Ukraine, and information about exercises was described as “lacking in veracity”.
