The existing fuel stocks in the Republic of Moldova are sufficient to cover the current market needs, according to BANI.MD. The clarification was made for the publication by Galina Sanduța, the head of the press service of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE).

According to the official, currently the diesel stocks in warehouses and PECO stations are sufficient for about 15 days. Gasoline is secured for about 20 days.

At the same time, ANRE announced new increases in the maximum prices for the main standard type petroleum products. Thus, for March 10, 2026, COR 95 gasoline will cost 24.82 lei per liter, an increase of 28 bani.

Standard diesel will reach 23.59 lei per liter, 72 bani more than the previous day. The price increase is due to the war in the Gulf, which has pushed oil prices to almost 120 dollars per barrel.
