For three consecutive days, drones have been shot down in Romania. The incidents took place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, near Sulina-Chilia, the Danube Delta, and in Buzău.
According to Nicușor Dan, at least one of the flying devices was a Shahed type, used by the Russians to attack Ukraine. Investigations into the other incidents are still ongoing.
The Romanian diplomacy plans to summon the Russian ambassador, in order to present him with a protest note.
Meanwhile, in Tulcea county, new Ro-Alert messages were issued on Monday morning, according to news.ro. Citizens were warned that objects could fall to the ground and were asked to stay indoors, go to cellars or shelters, while remaining calm.
