Donald Trump stated that he asked Vladimir Zelenskiy to stop the attacks on oil refineries in Russia. The American president believes that his counterpart will listen and comply with the request.
“Well, the big issue is that refineries in Russia are under attack. It’s not actually a Middle East problem, but rather a Russian one, because Ukraine and Russia are fighting each other, and Ukraine is attacking the diesel refineries in Russia, as they produce a large portion of the necessary fuel”, Trump said.
Journalists asked him what the Ukrainian president had responded. According to Trump, Zelensky told him: “Well, we will probably do that…”.
