The American President, Donald Trump, labeled Cuba as a “failed state” on Tuesday, arguing that the Havana regime is asking for help and that the US “will discuss” with its representatives, reports AFP and Reuters, quoted by Agerpres.

Havana is heading in one direction: down! Cuba is asking for help and we will discuss!!!“, Trump wrote on his network, Truth Social. “Meanwhile, I’m heading to China!“, added the leader from the White House in his message.

At the beginning of May, Donald Trump announced stricter sanctions against Cuba, where a May 1st parade was organized to “defend the homeland” and denounce the threats of American military aggression.

The US President said that the island, located 150 kilometers from Florida, continues to represent an “extraordinary threat” to the national security of the US.

He also reiterated his threat to “take control” of Cuba, suggesting that an American aircraft carrier could stop there “on its way back from Iran”.
