A total of 13 Ukrainian drones struck a coordination center and a base used by the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia, in an area under Russian occupation in the Ukrainian region of Kherson, announced the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), on Monday, according to The Kyiv Independent.

The operation was carried out by the special forces from the Alpha Center for Special Operations of the SBU. According to the institution, the targeted location was situated in a housing complex.

Preliminary reports suggest that there could have been 100 Russian soldiers present at the location at the time of the attack, SBU stated.

The statement also mentions that there were over 70 vehicles on site, and that the area was guarded by armed guards, checkpoints, engineering barriers, and underground shelters.
