The United Kingdom will provide Ukraine with 150,000 drones by the end of 2026. The aid package is granted as part of a financing package worth 752 million pounds, equivalent to about 996 million dollars.
The announcement was made by the British Defence Minister, Dan Jarvis, at the meeting of the Contact Group for the Defence of Ukraine, held in Brussels, writes hotnews.ro.
The package, financed from the loan of 2.26 billion pounds sterling granted by the United Kingdom to Ukraine, also includes 350 anti-aircraft defense missiles, as well as ground radar systems.
The loan is secured by the revenues generated by the frozen Russian assets.
