If Poland is ever attacked, all NATO Allies will respond, conveyed Nicușor Dan, on the sidelines of the Ankara Summit. In an interview published on Antena3, the Romanian leader mentioned that the subject was not much discussed at the meeting.
The official reported that such matters are discussed at summits in a more restricted format. In Ankara, however, the Alliance’s solidarity was reaffirmed.
“These types of discussions occur more often in Summits that have a more restricted format, like the B9 Summit or the Helsinki format Summit that we had in Gdansk two, three weeks ago. This subject was not brought up at today’s Summit, instead, solidarity was reaffirmed by everyone. That is, I don’t think it will, but if this ever happens, all allies will respond”, said Nicușor Dan.
The Romanian president also revealed that he is about to undertake an official visit to Ukraine, to discuss with Vladimir Zelenski about cooperation in the field of defense.
