The super yacht Graceful, which is said to belong to Vladimir Putin, has passed by Denmark. The ship was escorted by two Russian warships.
The ship crossed the Belt Strait on the night of June 29, passed Anholt Island and is set to bypass Cape Grenen. It is being tracked by a destroyer and a Russian navy patrol ship, as well as a Danish patrol boat. The German guard is also monitoring it.
It is not clear who is on board and where the superyacht is heading. It is known that the ship was under repair in the Hamburg port shortly before the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.
According to The Moscow Times, the ship was previously spotted in Saint Petersburg and the Baltic Sea.
Since Sunday morning, the German Coast Guard and the Danish Navy have been alternately monitoring the Russian convoy. As stated by the Danish Armed Forces Command for DR, the military is currently monitoring the ships, including foreign government vessels, transiting the straits and Danish waters. It is also mentioned that the yacht Graceful was under repair in Hamburg, Germany, before the start of the large-scale invasion and left the port on February 7, 2022 – 17 days before the invasion of Ukraine.
