The correspondent from Transnistria, detained in the case of contract killings, would be Alina Bondarenko, according to TVR Moldova. The young woman is 19 years old and is said to hold Ukrainian citizenship.

Representatives of the alleged state television from the left bank of the Dniester reported to journalists in Chisinau that they currently do not have such an employee in the editorial office.

On Friday, the SBU published images from the searches of the people detained in a case related to the organization of contract killings of public figures in Ukraine – journalists, civic activists, and military officials. The photos also show a service card of the television channel from Tiraspol.

Authorities in Chisinau and Kiev have launched a joint operation to detain members of a criminal group coordinated from Moscow. The criminal organization was coordinated by a former prisoner, recruited by Russian special services.

The individual identified other agents and recruited them, specifically choosing people with military experience. There were two groups: one was tracking the victims, and the other had the role of executing them. Various methods were used for the killings, from gunfire to car accidents. For these actions, the Russian special services paid them up to 100,000 US dollars.
