Volodimir Zelenski thanked the European Parliament for the record loan of 90 billion euros granted to Ukraine.
The President of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski, expressed his gratitude to the European Parliament for the decision to grant the country a support loan of 90 billion euros.
He said that these funds will help Ukraine survive and protect civilians, even from the resources that Russia must reimburse, writes Ukrinform.
The message of the Ukrainian president was transmitted on his page X.
“Today, the European Parliament voted on the support loan of 90 billion euros from the EU for Ukraine. I thank the President of the European Parliament and all political groups in the European Parliament for their leadership and responsibility”, Zelenski declared.
“This is exactly the signal that must be sent to the aggressor”, Volodimir Zelenski further emphasized.
“Ukraine will resist and can protect lives. Europe is united and strong and supports Ukraine. And all this is funded even from the resources that Russia must reimburse”, the president further wrote.
