Ukraine’s President, Vladimir Zelenski, reiterated his request to the USA to provide clear security guarantees in the event of a future Russian aggression. In a discussion with journalists, the Ukrainian leader announced that he proposed moving the technical negotiations with the American side to Kiev.

The official mentioned that Ukraine needs a predictable understanding of the future, specifying that in the coming days, the authorities will introduce specific questions into the working document to obtain a clear response regarding the US reaction in the event of a new Russian aggression, reports IPN. Zelensky also proposed technical discussions in Kiev as an alternative to the trilateral negotiation format.

In the context of the Easter holidays, the Ukrainian president reiterated the proposal to carry out a ceasefire, mentioning that the information was also transmitted to the USA, as a mediator in the peace negotiations.

The Ukrainian leader also revealed the warning received from the intelligence services, indicating that the Russian army is preparing attacks on critical infrastructure, including railway networks, water supply systems, and logistics. Among the targeted objectives are bridges, dams, hydroelectric plants, and drinking water pumping stations.
