Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski stated on Monday that it is ‘of critical importance’ that the NATO summit starting on Tuesday in Ankara concludes with new concrete measures regarding the strengthening of Ukrainian air defense, just a few hours after a new massive Russian attack on Kiev killed ten people, reports EFE, quoted by Agerpres.
\”As long as Patriot missiles remain in the warehouses of our allies, Russia will be encouraged to continue destroying residential buildings. The United States and Europe have enough resources to stop this terror,\” wrote Volodimir Zelenski on X, condemning the attack.
According to the Ukrainian Air Forces, Russia attacked on Monday morning with 351 drones and 68 missiles, among which were 23 Iskander-M ballistic and 6 Zircon and Oniks anti-ship.
None of the ballistic and anti-ship missiles could be shot down and all hit their targets.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, defense companies and energy facilities in Kiev, as well as military airfields in several Ukrainian regions, were hit in the attack.
