Volodymyr Zelenskyy has revealed which options are being considered to bring peace to Ukraine. Following the Russian president’s talks with the Finnish president and the Norwegian prime minister, the Ukrainian leader said that only Ukraine and the Russian Federation can resolve the territorial issue.

According to Zelensky, Russia is tying the territorial issue to ending the war and providing security guarantees. He said the leaders of the two European countries had not raised the issue during their talks with Putin.

At the same time, the Ukrainian president outlined the American proposals. According to him, three possible scenarios are being considered: establishing demilitarized zones, exchanging territories, or creating a buffer zone in Donbas.

According to him, the United States suggested finding a solution for the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, as well as territorial swaps or the demilitarization of part of the Kinburn Peninsula while leaving it under Ukrainian control, reports realitatea.md.

Zelensky said the options had been discussed during the negotiations, but no progress had been made on the issue. The Ukrainian leader reiterated that he was ready to discuss the matter, but that it could not be addressed in informal talks.
