At least two gas station networks in Moscow have reintroduced fuel sales limits. Gazprom Neft sells up to 60 liters of fuel per customer, while Tatneft – 50 liters of gasoline and 60 – of diesel.
At the same time, the Russian capital is facing a shortage of AI-95 gasoline. On the evening of August 18, only one Neftmagistral station in Moscow had this type of fuel in stock.
Restrictions on the sale of fuel at Moscow stations began in June. Tatneft, Rosneft, and Lukoil were among those who imposed limits, reports Meduza. The restrictions were subsequently lifted, but the fuel crisis seems to have hit Russia again in August.
According to the Izvestia publication, on August 16, gasoline and diesel were available at only 28% of Russian gas stations.
