The United Kingdom wants to supply Ukraine with equipment to shoot down Russian reaction drones. The announcement was made by Prime Minister Andy Burnham, while receiving Vladimir Zelenski on Down Street.

Just before the official meeting, the head of the British Government declared in the House of Commons that he will try to restore Donald Trump’s support for Ukraine.

The British Government’s press service reported, following the discussions between Burnham and Zelenski, that the officials spoke about ways in which Ukraine’s allies could intensify their support. Consequently, the Prime Minister of London promised to deliver anti-drone missiles to Ukraine.

Additionally, the United Kingdom will provide Kiev with approximately 22.5 million dollars for the restoration of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant’s shelter, writes Agerpres. The UK’s funding commitment is part of a broader international program, coordinated by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, in collaboration with the Ukrainian government and G7 donors.
